  • Earns higher interest than a savings account
  • Liquidation before maturity attracts a penalty charge of 20% of accrued interest or ₦2,000 (whichever is higher)
  • Accrued interest is subject to 10% withholding tax upon maturity

Call Deposit

This is a short term investment with no maturity period. It is flexible in that it allows the customer access to his funds anytime he needs them. Idle funds can be placed on overnight call, 7-day call or 14-day call.

  • Minimum deposit of ₦100,000.00
  • Easily accessible with 24 hours notice without penalty
  • Earns higher interest than a savings account
  • Accrued interest is subject to 10% withholding tax at termination

  • Liquidation before maturity is Prohibited
  • Customer has an option of taking interest upfront or backend

They are Zenith Bank’s investment products created for customers seeking very high yields on their investment.

  • Minimum investment is ₦250 Million
  • Available tenor range is between 100 to 364 days
  • Interest is payable upfront
  • No withholding tax (WHT) charge
  • Investment cannot be rolled over. All contracts terminate at maturity date and the proceeds credited to customer account
  • New contracts however can be re-negotiated at the instance of the customer and subject to availability
  • It cannot be liquidated before the maturity date
  • Minimum investment is ₦100 Million
  • Interest is payable backend
  • Accrued interest is subject to 10% withholding tax upon maturity
  • Investment cannot be rolled over. All contracts must be terminate at maturity and the proceeds credited to customer account
  • New contracts however can be re-negotiated at the instance of the customer and subject to availability
  • It cannot be liquidated before maturity date
